The latex rubber used in our toppers is harvested from rubber trees (Hevea tree) located in Sri Lanka.  Each Heava tree provides approximately 15 grams of latex per day.  To put that in perspective, a queen size topper needs approximately the daily output of 2500 rubber trees, spread out over 12 acres of the plantation.  In return, these 2500 Heava trees account for the removal of 143 metric tons of Carbon dioxide from the enviroment every year!

SleepWarehouse latex toppers are manufactured via the Dunlop process in molds that contain small posts which creates venilation holes throughout the product.  These holes allow air to move more freely and provides a better breathing product.

Latex is enviromentally friendly, anit-microbial and hypoallergenic.  The extremly durable latex rubber is naturally resilient and will not flatten over time.

Topper Covers -  SleepWarehouse now has two great options for covering your new topper.  

• Our custom Natural Bamboo cover is a luxurious cover made from Natural Bamboo material.  Bamboo is an Eco Green product that produces an extremely soft and durable fabric, along with being a great renewable source for bedding linens.  Bamboo cover is a great addition to the Natural Latex mattress toppers. The topper cover encases the entire topper for total protection.  3 sided zipper allows easy and convenient application to your memory foam or latex mattress topper.  Bamboo cover can be hand washed.

• The 2nd option is our Terry Cotton topper cover.  Terry Cotton cover has a 4 sided zipper with non-slip bottom.  As with our Natural Bamboo cover, this product encases the entire foam mattress pad for convenient protection from dirt, pets and snags while changing linens.  Hand wash only.
